was not there before the accident and describes the pain as an achy sensation that radiates up the arm to his <\/em><strong><em>r.<\/em><\/strong><em> elbow.&nbsp; The patient rates the pain as a 2 on a scale of 1 \u2013 10.&nbsp; The patient denies loss of consciousness, <\/em><strong><em>DIB, N\/V\/D, CP<\/em><\/strong><em>, neck or back pain, inability to speak.&nbsp; The patient advises that he was wearing his seatbelt and describes the accident, \u201c\u2026I was traveling at approximately 20 mph, when I was distracted by an attractive pedestrian\u2026 I wasn\u2019t paying attention when I struck the car in front of me.\u201d The patient states, \u201c\u2026It\u2019s just my arm that hurts, do I really need to go to the hospital?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Objective:&nbsp; EMS dispatched to an <\/em><strong><em>MVC<\/em><\/strong><em> at the intersection of a county road.&nbsp; Upon arrival, EMS found the car, still in the intersection without significant damage.&nbsp; Very little intrusion was found anywhere on the front of the vehicle.&nbsp; Damage was confined to the front bumper.&nbsp; The airbag was deployed.
